Beat Sheet and Script Consultation

Beat Sheet Consultation:
After you create a Beat Sheet (as described in Blake’s books), a Master Cat! will analyze it and consult with you for up to one hour. (Please note: beat sheets must be 5 pages or less.)

Save the Cat!® Script Coverage:

  • Overall view of the script as assessed by the Cat! method including power of concept, delivery of key story points, and if we are able to “follow the bouncing ball” of the hero’s story
  • Evaluation of A and B Stories, key minor character arcs, tone and consistency
  • Examination of theme, and whether or not that theme is clear and powerful

The goal is to give the writer perspective on his or her script in order to address problems, execute a rewrite, and point the project toward a more structurally-sound direction.

The consultation concludes with a phone or Skype conversation for up to one hour with the Master Cat! who has analyzed your script.

Note: Scripts must be 120 pages or less.
